LG 3G Wrist Watch Phone – Will it Work? LG-GD910

The New LG Watch actually looks pretty sharp!

It will be a watch I go to the store and test out. I think it will make me feel like a super hero, a private eye, or possibly even a dork. So Spiderman pushed his wrist to make webs, I could push my wrist and get internets.

This watch has to be a smokin piece of technology to over come the watch dorkyness we saw in the 80′s with calculator watches (see pics below). But if Palm can come back from the dead with the Palm Pre, LG might just have a chance with this new concept watch phone camera contact thingy.

One thing I can not get over with out testing the watch-phone out first is the uncomfortableness of talking to my hand. Think of the normal motion you will be doing constantly while talking on a watch phone. One, I think my arm will get tired. Two, it will look worse than the people talking loud on their bluetooth headsets and more obvious. Three, think if you were in a small room with 100 people with these wristwatch phones all talking at the same time on them… SCARY It would be a like a dorky wanna be superheros convention. To be fair, I must note the phone comes with a bluetooth headset, which LG says will be your primary communication tool with the watch. Those are just my initial thoughts, once I give the WP a test run I could very well fall in love as I was initially skeptical about the iPhone.
